SWORKz is the racing brand of Speedmaster Hobby, a company in Hsinchu City, Taiwan, that began distributing RC products in 2005 and launched SWORKz in 2010.1

About SWORKz

What it stands for

SWORKz says it was started by "a group of RC enthusiast that worked in the RC industry," and that its members "have RC racing backgrounds."1 For the S35-4 EVO it sets out its approach: "the possibility to adapt the car setup to every track for top pilots but also have a standard setup that works on most tracks for hobby pilots."7

Known for

Its S350 1/8 buggy platform carries through the range: the S35-3 built on the S350 line, and the Apollo II ready-to-run buggy is based on the competition S350 PRO.2,9 Some of its parts fit a whole family, such as a steering knuckle pivot ball made for all S35, S350 and Apollo 1/8 buggies and truggies.10

Product portfolio

SWORKz makes race kits, almost all of them for builders who add their own electronics. In 1/8 scale it covers buggies (S35-4, S35-4 EVO, S35-5) and truggies (S35-T2 and T2 EVO), each in nitro and electric versions, plus S35-GT on-road GT cars, with Factory Team Edition versions of the GT2.2 and GT3.0. In 1/10 scale come electric off-road buggies: the 2WD S12-2 and S12-3 and the 4WD S14-4, each in carpet and dirt editions. The FOX 4x4 is the ready-to-run version of its 1/10 buggy.8

Racing record

SWORKz racing centers on 1/8 off-road and GT. Jörn Neumann won the 1/8 GT championship in Florida in 2020.3 Juan Carlos Canas reclaimed the EFRA 1/8 Nitro Buggy European title in Madrid in 2026, at the 44th running of the championships.5 Factory driver Elliott Boots, a two-time European champion, took his tenth British 1/8 Nitro Buggy National title in 2026.11
