SWORKz S35-GT2

Stock is as the vehicle ships. Calculated is worked from the stock figures on this page rather than stored beside them, so the two cannot drift apart. Derived is worked out from gear tooth counts the maker publishes rather than printed as a ratio; the notes below say how. Not applicable means the vehicle does not come with it, like the motor on a roller or the tires on a race kit, or does not have one, like a KV rating on a brushed motor.

Gearing parts

Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft.

How these numbers were settled

Nitro 1/8 GT kit with a two-speed transmission, engine not included.

• Sworkz prints 'Gear Ratio: C:57/61,18/23T, F/R 43/13T': second gear is a 23T clutch bell pinion (338005) on a 57T spur (200709), first gear an 18T (338003) on a 61T (200708).
• Second gear is stored as the fitted set: 57/23 x 3.3077 = 8.20.
• First gear works out to 61/18 x 3.3077 = 11.21.
• The ratio after the spur is the 43T crown against the 13T pinion, 3.3077.
• Tires and wheels are not included, so the tire size is left blank.
