Rlaarlo JK07Pro Brushless RTR

1/7 scale · crawler · JK07proG-BS

Rlaarlo's JK07Pro Brushless RTR is a four-wheel-drive 1/7 crawler with portal axles and a two-speed transmission, sold ready to run with a 4282-2600KV brushless motor and a 140A brushless ESC.

A 15T pinion on the 35T spur and a 12.27:1 drivetrain give 28.64:1 in high range, about 23 mph on a 4S pack, and 53.18:1 in low. It weighs 8 kg on 145 mm tires. Most crawling happens in low range, so keep high for the easy stretches between obstacles.

How to read these figures
  • Stock is as the vehicle ships.
  • Calculated is worked from the stock figures on this page rather than stored beside them, so the two cannot drift apart.
  • Derived is worked out from gear tooth counts the maker publishes rather than printed as a ratio; the notes below say how.
  • The top speed is kinematic: an ideal no-load RPM with no slip and no loss under load, so a real car is slower.

How these numbers were settled

Rlaarlo's parameter sheet prints a 15T motor pinion, a 35T deceleration gear, a 16T/30T secondary stage, a 20T/20T pair in high, an 11T/36T differential and a 15T/30T gate-bridge (portal) stage.
