1/7 scale · crawler · UM07S-RTR-BS

Also sold as the Rlaarlo UM07 and the Rlaarlo Unimog U4000

Rlaarlo's Mercedes-Benz Unimog U4000 UM07 Brushless RTR is a 1/7 scale crawler with portal axles and a two-speed transmission, sold ready to run with a 4282-2600KV brushless motor and a 140A brushless ESC.

After the 35T spur the drivetrain reduces 12.27:1 in high range, so the final drive is 35 divided by the pinion, times 12.27. Rlaarlo's own documents disagree on the stock pinion's tooth count, so count the teeth on yours before trusting a speed figure. It runs 160 mm tires on 17 mm hexes, weighs 11 kg and is rated for 6S.

How to read these figures
  • Stock is as the vehicle ships.
  • Calculated is worked from the stock figures on this page rather than stored beside them, so the two cannot drift apart.
  • Derived is worked out from gear tooth counts the maker publishes rather than printed as a ratio; the notes below say how.
  • Not published means it exists but no source we could find prints it.

How these numbers were settled

Rlaarlo's manual (p. 18) prints a 35T deceleration gear behind the motor pinion, then a 16T/30T secondary stage, a 20T/20T pair in high, an 11T/36T differential and a 15T/30T portal stage.
