Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft.

How these numbers were settled

Electric race kit: the manual lists the motor, speed controller, pinion, battery and tires and wheels as not included, so there is no stock pinion or total ratio and the tire size is left blank.

• The manual's gearing formula reads (46 : X) x 3.54 = FDR, with the 46T composite spur (#354946) fitted to the centre diff.
• The 3.54 constant is the 46T crown against the 13T diff pinion, the same pair the features page describes.
