Tekno RC ET48 2.0

Gearing parts

Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft.

How these numbers were settled

Released in 2021, this electric kit ships without a motor, speed control, servo, battery, wheels or tires.

• The parts list names a 44 tooth spur gear, and the differential runs a 40 tooth ring gear against a 9 tooth pinion gear, a ratio of about 4.4 to 1 after the spur.
• Tekno's suggested motor pinion range is 15 to 25 teeth, with no single size marked as stock.
