Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft. How these numbers were settled
The RTR manual fits a 20T pinion (1338, p. 19) and an 81T 48P Octalock spur (92296, p. 12) in the stock low-motor layout.
- The product page and the RTR press release both print a 2.6:1 transmission ratio, so the total of 10.53:1 is worked out as 81 / 20 x 2.6.
- The maker names a 2S LiPo as the pack to use but does not name the speed control or publish its cell rating, so the cell limit is left blank.
- The diameter of the stock drift tires is not published.
- The gear differential is packed with black grease (6588); the manual suggests 1000cst (80wt) oil for lower-grip surfaces.
- The RTR Combo (30133C) adds a Reedy battery and charger.
