Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft.
How these numbers were settled
Losi's spec table lists a 12T pinion and a 36T spur, and the manual twice calls the stock pinion 12T.
- The same table prints an internal ratio of 4.16:1 and a final drive of 14.58:1, which do not agree with each other (36/12 x 4.16 is 12.48), and Losi publishes no transmission tooth counts that would settle it, so both ratios are left blank.
- The manual's parts list names only a 13T pinion (LOSA3573) and a 42T ring and 12T pinion diff set (LOS232019).
- Losi does not publish the diameter of the BFGoodrich KM3 tires on the 2.2 in wheels.
- The Firma 130A ESC is sold as a 2S to 4S unit, but the manual says this vehicle is compatible with 2S and 3S packs only, so 3S is shown here.
- Blue Polaris (T1) and orange Fox (T2) versions differ only in body.
