Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft. Linked part numbers go to the maker's or official distributor's page for that part.
How these numbers were settled
Losi's spec table lists an 18T pinion, a 60T spur and an internal gear ratio of 2.714, and the manual's parts list names the same gears (LOS212022 18T 0.5 MOD pinion, LOS212016 60T 0.5 MOD spur).
- The final drive of about 9.05:1 is worked out from those figures; Losi does not print it.
- The 2.714 appears only on the spec table, and no transmission tooth counts are published to confirm it.
- The buggy runs Wide Rib front and Big Shot rear tires whose diameters Losi does not publish.
- The spec table names an EC2 connector while the manual names IC2 for the motor and ESC combo and the included battery, so the connector is left blank.
- Red (T1) and blue (T2) versions differ only in colour.
