Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft. How these numbers were settled
Nitro version of the Vorza buggy, with the Nitro Star F3.5 V2 engine.
- The manual's parts list (p. 44) and HPI's standard parts list both name a 16T clutch bell (67440), a 48T spur (67428), and a 10T spiral pinion (67499) driving a 43T spiral diff gear (101192), so the ratio after the spur is 43/10 = 4.3 and the total is 48/16 x 4.3 = 12.9:1.
- Tires are Tredz Causeway, 111mm outer diameter by 43mm wide (160280).
- The product page prints a 205mm width, which does not fit the 305mm printed for the same chassis on the Vorza Flux page, so the width is left blank.
