Pro-Line says its goal is "to always satisfy our RC customers through cutting edge designs and high performance products."1 It calls itself "a world class U.S. Manufacturer and 12-Time World Champion" and says it has been "Made in America" for more than 35 years.1

Known for

Its bodies and performance parts are made for other makers' vehicles, from accessories for the Traxxas Slash to bodies for the Losi NASCAR race car.8,9 Pro-Line counted 12 IFMAR World Championship titles through 2020.2

Product portfolio

Vehicles are a small part of what Pro-Line makes. Its range is built on tires, wheels, bodies and parts upgrades,7 for classes from 1/8 buggy and truck to 1/10 electric, rock crawling, short course and 1/5 off-road.1 Its vehicles are 1/10 four-wheel-drive electric trucks that the buyer finishes: the PRO-MT 4x4 monster truck comes as a pre-built roller and the PRO-Fusion SC 4x4 short course truck as a kit.

  1. 1982Launches a line of tires and wheels for the emerging off-road market.1
  2. 1995Joins forces with PROTOform Race Bodies, widening its body range and its on-road racing focus.1
  3. 2014The PRO-MT, a 1/10 2WD monster truck, following its first truck, the PRO-2 SCT.3,4
  4. 2017The PRO-MT 4x4, a 1/10 4WD monster truck sold as a pre-built roller.5
  5. 2018The PRO-Fusion SC 4x4 kit, a short course truck that carries over most of its parts from the PRO-MT 4x4.6
  6. 2020Horizon Hobby acquires Pro-Line, which keeps operating from its facility in Banning.2
