Installation notes
- One 8196 kit includes the gears, output shaft, shift mechanism, high/low servo, mount, linkage and associated hardware. It also includes an 11T pinion, 45T spur, slipper friction material and grease.
- A compatible three- or four-channel transmitter and receiver combination with a usable shift channel is required separately. A two-channel TQ transmitter cannot operate remote high/low.
- Rebuild the transmission and fit the supplied gearing as instructed. Reuse the specified original input/output pins and transfer-case components; post-conversion ratios must use the fitted gears.
- The supplied servo horn is factory centered. Do not turn the servo shaft by hand during assembly.
- This conversion does not add remotely locking differentials. Those require their own hardware and controls.
