Installation notes

  • One 6780 assembly includes an aluminum carrier, 54T 32-pitch steel spur and sealed differential filled with 1-million-weight silicone oil. Use a compatible 32-pitch motor pinion.
  • Check the installed equipment before ordering. Some factory Slash 4X4 configurations already have composite center differential 6814; on those vehicles this replaces that differential rather than a slipper.
  • Keep 6780 and 6780A identities separate; their listed contents and fill descriptions differ.
  • Set gear mesh and check center-drive and motor clearance. A center differential redistributes drive between axles and needs fluid maintenance. Retain the motor and ESC voltage limits.
