Upgrade notes
- Requires TKR9017B: Cover and sway-bar accessories for lowered bulkheads.
- Required revised cover for the lowered differential; the original TKR9017 cover lacks the specified clearance.
- Requires TKRBB05145: 5x14x5 shielded bearings, four-pack.
- Transfer two serviceable stock 5x14x5 bearings per gearbox. One sold four-pack is conditional replacement stock.

Installation notes
- For one gearbox, use TKR9416B with the TKR9017B cover and two serviceable TKRBB05145 5x14x5 bearings.
- The NB48 2.1 and ET48 2.0 already supply the specified bearing size. Transfer two good bearings; a replacement four-pack is needed only if they require replacement.
- The lowered differential requires the revised cover for ring-gear clearance. Rebuild the gearbox and check free rotation, backlash and cover sealing.
- NB48 2.1 requires about 0.5mm of chassis material to be ground away below the ring gear. Confirm clearance before completing this permanent modification.
