This replaces the plastic-bodied shocks with matching aluminum front and rear shock kits. It is an option when rebuilding the suspension around these serviceable shock assemblies, with oil and spring setup chosen for the truck and surface.

Upgrade notes

  • Requires 5423: FT Silicone Shock Fluid, 40wt (500 cSt), 2oz..
  • Shock fluid is not included in the kits. This bottle is a 40wt / 500cSt service option; viscosity can be selected for the setup.

Installation notes

  • Use one 25845 front shock kit and one 25846 rear shock kit. Front and rear lengths are different and the kits are not interchangeable.
  • Front eye-to-eye length is 87.5mm extended and 60.6mm compressed; rear is 102.1mm and 67.6mm. Check mounting spacers, spring fit and suspension clearance.
  • Fluid is not included. Fill and bleed the shocks before fitting them. The listed 5423 40wt / 500cSt bottle is one service-fluid option; select viscosity for the truck and surface.
