Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft. How these numbers were settled
FMS's manual (MAN-G0192) prints 'Reduction ratio: (High Gears) 24.75 / (Low Gears) 99' as whole motor-to-wheel reductions for the two-speed gearbox; the high gear is used here and 99 is the crawl ratio.
- The same page prints the tire as 'Φ 54.8*19.5mm', and FMS's European distributor Beez2B reproduces both figures.
- The motor is a 130-size brushed can, so there is no KV.
- The FMS-R3A receiver and ESC unit is rated for '2S Lithium batteries' at 10A continuous and 40A peak, and the truck ships with a 2S 7.4V 380mAh pack.
- No tooth counts are printed, so the pinion, the spur and the ratio after it are left blank.
- The later FCX24S K5 Blazer S (FMS12403RTRBKGFS) prints the same tire and 130 motor on FMS's US product page but does not restate the gearing.
