Stealth XF slipper lockout

Element RC Enduro SE Sendero · 40107

The lockout removes the slip clutch so drive reaches the transmission without deliberate clutch slip. It gives a direct drive connection, but transfers shock loads to the rest of the drivetrain and does not add overdrive.

Installation notes

  • Use the 42333 lockout plates around the retained 50T 42316 spur, following the Builder Kit 3 gate 04 arrangement. Remove both original slipper plates, two friction pads and three conical washers from the stock slipper stack; retain the correct shaft, nut and spur interface.
  • The original slip-clutch adjustment and protection no longer apply after lockout. Check free rotation, motor gear mesh and retained nut engagement; do not compensate for binding by tightening the assembly.
  • The stock SE and Utron have a functioning slipper. Builder Kit 3 and the complete 42337 transmission already include the lockout, so it is not an additional feature on those packages.
