How these numbers were settled
Carisma's pages for the M40S 2.0 Civic Type R publish no gearing, tire size or motor KV, and its manual is only offered through a QR code.
- The 14T pinion and 44T spur (both module 1), the 3600Kv 550-size brushless motor and the ARC-3 50A ESC rated for 3S come from Motion RC's spec table for this car, not from Carisma.
- Carisma rates the car for a 2S or 3S LiPo.
- Carisma sells its M48S metal diff and input gear sets as fitting the M40S too, and on the M48S those gears give 2.6 after the spur, but nothing from Carisma confirms that for the M40S 2.0, so the ratio after the spur and the final drive are left blank.
- Motion RC lists the wheels as 115mm by 30mm, which is not a touring car tire size, so the tire diameter is left blank too.
- Carisma's page for the stock 24mm multi-spoke slicks gives a 12mm wheel hex.
- The Boost Blue Edition (95968), released in September 2026, is the same car with a blue body.
