This replaces the X-Maxx steering servo and fits the supplied steering link and servo-saver spring. Choose it as a matched steering-system upgrade when replacing the original servo, rather than fitting the servo alone and leaving out its supporting hardware.

Installation notes

  • One 2085RL package includes a stiffer servo-saver spring and steel steering linkage. Fit the supporting hardware and set endpoints to avoid binding.
  • The specified operating voltage is 6.0V and the output has 25 teeth. Retain the intended receiver-power arrangement.
  • The servo requires the Maxx mounting arrangement and does not fit standard servo mounts. 2085X, 2085XL, 2085R and 2085RL are distinct parts.
  • This is an accessory for 77096-4 X-Maxx. The current 77097-4 Ultimate already has 2085RL as standard equipment.
