Installation notes

  • One 9891 assembly includes the Titan 87T motor, transmission mount, two additional 2 x 6 mm screws and 22T adapter. Keep the original center driveshafts and the specified transmission/battery-tray screws.
  • Select high or low manually. Manual operation does not require 9892, a brushless ECM or a new transmitter; remote shifting is a separate control-system option.
  • With 9776 gearing, the gearbox reductions are 32.7:1 low and 9.9:1 high. Optional 9776X speed gearing uses its matching 22T adapter for 19.1:1 and 5.8:1. These are gearbox reductions, not final-drive ratios.
  • Route the motor wires through the specified clearance. Optional speed gears are an alternative setup, not an additional required purchase.
