Installation notes

  • Use the complete 71220 package: three-gear case, 54T idler, shaft, notched differential-height inserts, aluminum C arm mount, hardware and bearings.
  • Transfer the original differential and other parts identified in the supplement. Set the notched insert with the chosen height number on top.
  • Supply differential lubricant separately; Associated specifies a drop of 6591 on the gear teeth and shows 1596 threadlock at the indicated screws. Keep the anti-roll bar free to rotate.
  • The 71221 carbon case is an alternative case, not another required conversion kit.
