Installation notes

  • Choose either the separate-component route or the 53792 donor-universal set. Both routes also require 22047 coupling, 22064 cups and 54969 33mm swing shafts.
  • With 53792, use its wheel axles and cross joints but replace its supplied longer swing shafts with 54969. Do not combine both shopping routes.
  • Fit the Y3 shaft protectors in the wider cup slots; use the narrower slots when the protectors are omitted, as illustrated.
  • This locks the TT-02R front drive. It changes steering and braking behavior, so set up the car for the intended surface and driving style.
