Background
TA03F PRO puts the motor at the front of a belt-driven four-wheel-drive touring chassis. Its FRP double-deck construction, enclosed front and rear ball-differential gearboxes and oil-filled dampers represent a different architecture from the shaft-driven TA01 and TA02. The exact 58177 instructions identify the PRO chassis and its separate motor and radio equipment. Factory reference (opens in a new tab).

Front and rear stabilizers, tire inserts and a belt tension pulley give the builder track setup choices. The front motor position also makes the installation and weight layout distinct from a TA03R, so the shared family name is not enough to select every chassis or transmission part. Factory reference (opens in a new tab).
The factory instructions includes a separate 49377 Drift Spec addendum ahead of the 58177 instructions. Its drift tires and motor restrictions apply to that numbered version rather than every TA03F PRO. Identify the actual edition before ordering gearing or electronics, and use the original instructions to inspect the belt, differential assembly and suspension instead of copying a later touring car's setup. How to read these figures
- Stock is as the vehicle ships.
- Calculated is worked from the stock figures on this page rather than stored beside them, so the two cannot drift apart.
- Not applicable means the vehicle does not come with it, like the motor on a roller or the tires on a race kit.
- Not published means it exists but no source we could find prints it.
Build and setup
Factory setup guide for this configuration.
Identify the base 58177 kit before applying the drift addendum. The 49377 pages specify drift-specific parts and motor restrictions; they do not redefine every TA03F PRO. Inspect belt condition, pulley alignment and free gearbox rotation before fitting replacement electronics.[1] Exact factory assembly and setup manual (opens in a new tab)
Service the front and rear ball differentials and oil dampers using their own factory assembly drawings. Check the front motor mounting and steering clearance after installation. Match a replacement belt and suspension parts to the printed service numbers rather than relying on the broad TA03 name.[1] Exact factory assembly and setup manual (opens in a new tab)
