Original Frog 58041 MIP ball differential

Installation notes

• MIP explicitly names the original Frog 58041, rather than every Frog release, and requires 53908 universal shafts, 9335026 gear set and 3515004 16T pinion. Buy one of each supporting sold pack for the complete original-vehicle conversion.
• Unlike the exact 2015 Monster Beetle and 2016 Blackfoot direct-drop branches, the original Frog cannot retain its original differential axle interface and arbitrary existing gear set. Use the manufacturer-matched supporting transmission parts and pinion.
• The complete 16210 differential pack supplies the 48T 32P gear, outdrives, balls, rings, adjustment hardware, two 5x8x2.5 bearings, two 10x15x4 flanged bearings and grease. Retain the original gearbox structure and surrounding vehicle components as the manufacturer installation illustrates.
• Use clear silicone diff grease on the balls and rings and the supplied thrust grease on thrust balls/washers. Align the cross hole, work the assembly during tightening and follow the quarter-turn-back and held-outdrive slip check on the complete instruction sheet.
• This evidence does not authorize substituting the stock Frog 47T differential gear or omitting the supporting gear bag. No automatic 2005 rerelease path is created because that edition is not explicitly enumerated in the current manufacturer fitment list.
