The RX28WE is the World's Edition of the RX28 Gen 3 competition platform. Its steel chassis has deeper pockets beneath the servo and battery, and the narrow tub changes clearance as the car rolls. Reverse-mounted side links adjust the rear roll center, while a forward-mounted center shock and a two-piece tweak brace alter the rear assembly layout.
The kit supplies both ball and gear differentials plus optional long links and a long-shock conversion for different circuit setups. Reflex Racing (opens in a new tab)

Factory setup guide for this configuration.
Keep the WE rear pivot and side-link spacers together as one setup. Reflex's WE instructions show a 1 mm shim at each pivot mounting screw for the lower position. With that position, the reversed side links use a 1 mm rear shim and a 0.5 mm front shim. Match those stacks before changing the rear roll-center position.[1] RX28WE component installation and optional configurations, factory PDF (opens in a new tab)
Record the center-shock mounting position when comparing handling. The WE guide uses the forward ball-stud holes and also permits the mount to move another 4 mm forward. The current Gen 3 WE product description presents the forward shock position as a way to make cornering smoother; treat it as a setup choice to compare on your track.[1] RX28WE component installation and optional configurations, factory PDF (opens in a new tab)[2] Current RX28WE-KIT Gen3 configuration and included options (opens in a new tab)
The current kit includes long links and a long-shock conversion as alternative configurations. Reflex describes the long links as smoothing steering response and the long-shock arrangement as reducing off-power pitching. Follow the matching WE option drawing when changing either arrangement, then compare it with your original setup. These instructions cover WE chassis components; use the fitted electronics' own setup information.[1] RX28WE component installation and optional configurations, factory PDF (opens in a new tab)[2] Current RX28WE-KIT Gen3 configuration and included options (opens in a new tab)
