High-clearance steering knuckle option

Redcat Racing Everest Gen7 Sport · RER09585

The raised steering arms move the tie rod above more obstacles. This is a documented component package for the original Gen7 axle, with retained bushings and screws. It is not a portal-axle conversion or a guarantee that a different wheel offset clears.

Component option, not a complete installation guide. Manufacturer-documented component or mechanical configuration; no independent physical test or measured performance is claimed.

Installation notes

  • One package contains two steering blocks, two 5x13x4 mm sealed bearings and one steering rod set.
  • Reuse stock Redcat 18005 kingpin bushings and 02096 or 50100 screws. Hot Racing requires medium blue threadlocker on the arm screws.
  • The maker identifies replacement of plastic Redcat 18004 steering arm mounts. Confirm those mounts are still on your Gen7; a prior portal conversion changes the axle configuration.
  • This package changes steering-link clearance. No independently measured steering angle, durability or handling improvement is claimed.
