This replaces the transmission with a matched package that adds front-wheel overdrive, bearings and a locked slipper. The Utron SE already has the forward-motor layout, so the reason to choose it is the internal package rather than moving the motor.

Installation notes

  • Use one complete 42337 set. It already includes 42333 slipper lockout,91563 bearings, plastic upper gears,42338 55T/25T overdrive gears,42339 outdrives and 41090 motor screws. Do not add those as separate mandatory purchases.
  • Retain a suitable existing motor and 48P pinion, radio/ESC, battery and serviceable mounting hardware. The SE factory build shows 1336 18T48P/1/8-inch-shaft interface; no motor, voltage increase or speed target is supplied by the transmission kit.
  • The new transmission has a different primary reduction from Stealth X. Retaining the same motor pinion does not retain the old overall final-drive ratio. Check mesh, motor temperature, driveshaft engagement and electronics/wiring clearance after mounting.
  • The complete kit includes a slipper lockout. It does not retain a functioning slip clutch, and extra traction/load can be transmitted to the driveline. Advertised 18% overdrive is a front/rear speed difference, not 18% more vehicle speed.
  • The factory SE and Utron already have the forward-motor XF layout. This package changes the overdrive, bearings and slipper assembly.
