This replaces the original independent front suspension with the revised IFS2 assembly, whose steering and arm layout are intended to improve travel and obstacle clearance. Check the existing small wheels, tire clearance and steering geometry as a complete package.

Installation notes

  • Use the complete 42340 module, including its supplied steering/suspension hardware and SE-style fluid-filled shocks. Do not mix individual original IFS or solid-axle arms, skid plates and steering racks by family name.
  • Remove both assembly stands, pivoting the shock mounts as instructed, and retain the removed hardware. Remove the servo-horn fastener before the servo blank, then install the real compatible servo and skid in sequence.
  • The supplement calls 31532 3x 8 in prose but 3x 10 in its drawing. Retain the supplied fastener and check its actual location; do not turn this inconsistent label into an extra replacement-screw purchase.
  • Follow Utron IFS2 chassis gates for the steering rack and servo stack. Check servo spline/horn fit, front prop-shaft engagement, full bump/steer travel, wheel barrel and body clearance. Existing motor/radio/rear axle are retained.
  • This recipe is scoped to the stated 1:10 Enduro factory configuration. It does not apply to Enduro 12, Enduro 24, Gaterunner or a portal-front/IFS mixed assembly.
