Start with the correct reference

Exact SC480X R2 automatic startup calibration; throttle controls neutral and EPA/ATV and D/R at100%. Advanced programming card is not required for this calibration.

Before starting

  • This applies to the SC480X R2 manual edition. Calibration runs automatically at startup; the optional programming card is not needed.

Calibration sequence

  1. Set transmitter throttle/brake EPA or ATV and D/R (dual rate) to 100%, with throttle trim at neutral.
  2. Leave the trigger at neutral and switch on the transmitter.
  3. Connect a charged compatible battery to the ESC. This ESC has no separate on/off switch.
  4. Keep the trigger at neutral during the self-test and calibration. Expect two beeps and a lit red LED.
  5. Wait for the red LED to go out before driving.

Final checks

  • Disconnect the battery to switch off, and always unplug it after driving. Leaving it connected can damage the battery or cause a fire.
