This replaces the existing independent front suspension with the preassembled IFS2 module. Its revised arms, skid plates and steering layout are intended to provide more suspension travel and clearance when tackling obstacles.

Installation notes

  • Use the complete preassembled 42340 IFS2 module with the vehicle's specified mounting hardware.
  • Remove the assembly stands and servo blank as shown in the supplement. Save the removed hardware for fitting the module to the chassis.
  • Install the servo and skid in the stated sequence, then check steering travel, tire clearance and full suspension compression.
