Start with the correct reference

Exact installed DYNS2210 component calibration: neutral transmitter input, automatic calibration after power-on and a long readiness beep. Vehicle battery and motor limits still apply.

Original DYNS2210 in ECX03430, ECX03055 and ECX03056, with the exact Created 02/2017 component edition 43771.1. Replacements and different firmware or editions are outside this record.

Before starting

  • Confirm the installed controller is DYNS2210 and the battery jumper matches the actual battery type. Never use the Ni-MH setting with a LiPo battery.
  • Use the F/Br/R mode specified by these vehicle owner editions. Keep the wheels clear of the ground when checking transmitter control.

Calibration sequence

  1. Switch the ESC off and connect a fully charged compatible battery.
  2. Switch on the transmitter. Set the throttle direction to normal, throttle trim to neutral and throttle travel to 100%. Disable special functions such as ABS.
  3. Hold the throttle at neutral and switch the ESC on.
  4. Leave the throttle at neutral while the ESC automatically calibrates its range after three seconds.
  5. Listen for one long beep, which indicates that the ESC is ready to run.

Final checks

  • Disconnect the battery when finished. The ESC switch controls the receiver and servo power, and the ESC continues to draw current while the battery remains connected.
