Installation notes

  • INJS480A-BK supplies the INJS480 servo with a matched black 15T / 3.9mm horn. Use that horn and retain the stock SCX24 servo mount.
  • The separately selectable aluminum mount is not included with the servo-and-horn choice. Check steering-link attachment and clearance before setting endpoints.
  • The servo is rated 4.8-6V. Retain a compatible regulated supply and do not select a 7.4V BEC output. Check steering load when using a low-current receiver supply.
  • This package specifies the matched horn. It does not promise a spring-loaded servo saver.
