Metal front and rear differential kit

Arrma Senton 4X2 BOOST MEGA 550 · ARA4103V4

This replaces both axle differentials with complete matched metal-gear assemblies. It is a way to renew worn front and rear differentials together or prepare a supported drivetrain build, while keeping the existing motor, controller and battery limits.

Upgrade notes

  • Requires ARA210003: ARRMA 4X2 to 4X4 Transmission Conversion Upgrade Set: BOOST BOX.
  • Required only if the BOOST is still rear-wheel drive. The two-axle metal-differential route assumes the separate 4WD conversion is already fitted; do not buy that conversion twice.

ARRMA documents this option for this edition. Check the installed parts before ordering.

Installation notes

  • Use this kit when replacing worn axle differentials or preparing a supported drivetrain build. One package supplies two assembled metal-gear differentials, two yokes and installation hardware.
  • The two assemblies cover front and rear, not the center differential. Use the matched kit rather than assuming individual ring gears fit an unrelated housing.
  • This front-and-rear route is for a BOOST already converted to 4WD. A factory 2WD BOOST does not have two driven axle differentials. Fit the correct short center shaft for Granite/Vorteks or long shaft for Senton.
  • Check input-gear engagement, shimming and free rotation during installation. Follow the package instructions and reuse only serviceable compatible mounting parts.
  • Sharing components with 4S models does not change the motor, ESC or battery rating. Keep the electrical system within its existing limits.
  • Complete-module alternatives use two sold modules, one per axle, with matched input/ring gears and yokes. ARA311156 is the current steel-gear module; legacy ARA311072 is explicitly CNC steel and discontinued. Do not infer that the successor is CNC machined.
